                                                    PCS Exam Pattern & Syllabus

It is a 3 stage exam with 2 papers. The first paper will be of objective type and will consist of 200 objective questions. The second paper is also an objective type paper with 30 questions. Each question carries 1 mark (100 marks total) and each correct answer would increase your score by one while each incorrect answer would lead to deduction of one mark. If you can pass both these papers then only you will be considered for interview and service rules test after which you are selected as an IAS officer. All time allotted for answering all questions will be 1 hour and 20 minutes.
